Conceptual artist and cultural researcher. She holds a Bachelor in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid, where she also obtained her Master's degree in Contemporary Art. She won the Sharjah Biennial Award in 2015 with her WAM (World Agriculture Museum) project. Her work comes from a perspective strongly influenced by Anthropology, Sociology and Cultural Studies. The main focus of her research is contemporary peasantry. Her understanding of small and medium farmer is not just that of a food producer but also that of a cultural agent and knowledge producer. She has produced work that meditates on land use, nomadic architecture, peasant strikes, bureaucracy over the territory, the transformation of rural work, biotechnology and international food trade.

Her work has been exhibited in institutions such as the Carrillo Gil Museum, Mexico, the MUSAC of León (Spain); the CAB of Burgos (Spain); Madrid slaughterhouse; La Casa Encendida, Madrid; the Dos de Mayo Art Center, Madrid; The Townhouse Gallery, Cairo, Egypt; Arnolfini Center for Contemporary Art, Bristol, United Kingdom, Tranzit, Prague, Czech Republic; ART BASEL Miami Beach; Cappadox Festival, Uchisar-Turkey; The Finnish Museum of Photography, Helsinki; Museum of Art of Zapopan MAZ, among others.

She’s currently represented by the Travesía Cuatro gallery. She lives and works between Egypt and Spain.
