Associate curator at Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo (MUAC, UNAM). Graduate in Sociology, she is specialised and has a Master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology, and is an intern in the Master’s degree of Art History-Curatorial Studies. In the institutional field, her practice has focused on video installation, historical curating and exhibitions of archives. In collaboration with Cuauhtémoc Medina, she has curated exhibitions by well known artists such as Harun Farocki, Hito Steyerl and Jeremy Deller, among others. She has also worked with emerging artists, such as collective Tlacolulokos, Elena Damiani, María José Argenzio and Óscar Santillán. In parallel, she has developed an independent practice from interdisciplinary crossings, particularly between contemporary art, literature and contemporary dance. Among her research lines is also the relationship between photography and contemporary art. She has recently curated the XVII Photography Biennial at Centro de la Imagen.
